Out of town notice...

I will be out of town on 6/1 through the 6/5, however I won't be ready for active duty again till probably on 6/7.

You guys will all be happy to know my back is already healed up, I've had little to no problems this past week and I actually was able to pick up my parent's lawnmower(using my legs of course) to get it in the back of my truck's bed with no problems. I've also fixed my seating at home and at work, so I'll be able to log-in more hours again on the server in the future without fear of it hurting my lower back due to prolonged sessions.

Anyway, I'll see you guys again on the server in little over a week, until then, take care. Cool

YES, I am very glad my back is much better... I've heard for years from my family members who are nurses how they've seen patients with injuries of that nature and I don't think I'd wish it on my worse enemy. It's very hard to do much of anything with that kind of pain, just to even move or sit down, or pickup anything over 50 pounds for that matter, of course some days were better than others, but still, bleh! Mad

It's good to be back home, but I'm afraid I've probably been on my last visit to the beaches on the Gulf side of the US for some time I suspect... BP's oil leak from the doomed Deepwater Horizon has finally reached my favorite vacationing spots... Sad

The day we left, the state of Alabama closed all off-shore fishing and gave a general state-wide notice and recommendation to stay out of the Gulf waters on the beaches.(damn did we time that trip good! Shocked

) The night before the local stations reported oil blobs are starting to wash up in Gulf Shores, AL, right down the highway from Orange Beach, where we stayed and are also showing up as far east as Pensacola Beach in Florida, about some 40-50 miles away. Crying or Very sad
